5 days free stay of Vietnam visa

Sometimes, foreigners aksed for the 5-days free stay of Vietnam entry visa which introduced by Vietnam Government since May, 2002. This information seems to be very interesting and attactive to travelers.

To help clients clarify this question, we have aksed some reliable travel agencies and visa providers in Vietnam. However, no one knows and applies  this regulation. We searched on Internet and found that this regulation was applied in Furama Resort Danang. They collect Vietnam entry visa for their gests staying in resort from 5 days and over with free of charge only, not for all travelers come to Vietnam with 5 days stay free of Visa Vietnam. To make sure, we are going to ask some Vietnam Immigration Officials to clear this issue. As the information we have just collected, the  5 days free stay of Vietnam visa has never been used. It means all travelers from all over the all have to apply Vietnam entry visa even for 1 day stay. You only do not need visa Vietnam in case you transit at Vietnam International airport within 24 hours and you do not leave there any more.
