Thailand is one of the countries that has Vietnam visa exemption, thus, if its citizens would like to reside in Vietnam for a month (or 30 days), they do not need visa to Vietnam. But for those who are not citizens of this country, or for Thailand citizens who need to stay more than 30 days, a Vietnamese valid visa is required.

But this way seems to be not favorable for those living far from the Embassy. Hence, there’s another easier way, that is, to apply online for Vietnam visa on arrival. You just need to bring passport, photos, and the visa approval letter (sent to you via email in advance) to the Immigration  Desk upon arrival to get your visa stamped.
