In China, there are 5 places that you may get Vietnam visa: Beijing (Vietnam embassy), Guangzhou (general consulate), Nanning (general consulate), Hong Kong (consulate) and Kunming (consulate).
If you choose to get your visa for Vietnam through the embassy or consulate, normally, it takes 4 working days for completing the Vietnam visa, and the fee is around 6400 RMB (or 100 USD), if you wish to get it same day, the fee may be doubled.
