If you are residing in Italy, you may choose to get Vietnam visa at the Vietnam embassy here, or more simply, applying online for Vietnam visa on arrival.

For option one, the process for issuing visa takes around 6 working days and costs a bit high. You are required to show your passport and one passport-sized photo to get your visa stamped. Please see the below for address and instructions on how to get to the embassy:
