Specialty
Bamboo shoot sticky rice is a strange name to many people. This dish consists of steamed sticky rice and stir-fried bamboo shoots. The locals here like spicy food, so each bowl is often added with a red chili, making it more eye-catching. The crunchiness of the bamboo shoots combined with the chewy taste of the sticky rice makes this dish popular with many tourists.

Kon Tum leaf salad “Gỏi lá Kon Tum”, is notable for its singular nature, yet it arrives at the table with a platter overflowing with diverse leaves. From common vegetables like cabbage and various herbs (perilla, basil) to more distinctive options such as mango, guava, sour, and five paprika leaves, plus numerous other special leaves found in the Central Highlands, the variety is striking. The accompanying ingredients include boiled pork belly, slices of carp, boiled shrimp, and pork skin. A crucial element for enhancing the flavor is a dish of salt combined with fresh chili and fragrant black pepper. Eaters are encouraged to choose their desired components, roll them up themselves, and enjoy in a casual and comfortable manner.

Roasted Mang Den Pig "Heo Măng Đen quay" features a local pig breed that remains small, typically under 20kg. Raised freely on hills and consuming natural feed, this results in firm, flavorful, and nutritious meat. The whole pig is roasted over hot coals until its skin achieves a golden-brown, crispy, and fragrant state before being served.
In addition, you can also enjoy typical dishes of each ethnic group living here such as ant salad fish, sour pickled noodles, wild chicken mixed with perilla leaves, water field mouse meat, fern leaves...
