Visa extension is an action that is applied for foreigners who wish to prolong their current stay in Vietnam without leaving the country. By this action, you will get an extension stamp on your passport indicating your new stay duration.

2Requirements of Vietnam visa extension

To extend Vietnam visa, there are the required documents:

• ➔ Your original passport: Must be valid for at least 06 months from the time of extension and has at least 02 blank pages. (Need to send to Room 648, Van Nam Building, Lang Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi City).
• ➔ Vietnam visa in use.
• ➔ Declaration of temporary residence.

4How to extend Vietnam visa?

You only need to go through the following 3 steps to get your visa successfully extended:

1. Step 1: Send us a soft copy of your passport and the page containing your current Vietnam visa to email support@govietnamvisa.com or apply here.
2. Step 2: Send your original passport to our address and pay the extension fee. You can bring your passport in person to our office (Room 648, Van Nam Building, Lang Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi Capital), OR use the Post office to send your passport.
3. Step 3: Get your passport with an extended visa within 5-10 working days normally. Like the way you send the passport to our office, you can visit our office to pick it up or we will courier your passport to your accommodation address via post office.
