According to the Circular No 157/2015/TT-BTC from the Ministry of Finance providing the regime of collection, remittance and use management of fee for issuance of passports, visas and papers sheet on entry, exit, transit and residence in Vietnam, the that the stamping fee for Vietnam visa on arrival will sharply decrease from November 23, 2015.
The new stamping fees will be:
- US$25 per one single entry visa instead of the current UD$45;
- US$50 per one multiple entry visa valid for up to 3 month instead of the current US$95.
This new stamping will take effect from November 23, 2015 for all foreigners. It’s not only providing visitors with simplicity and convenience for visa application, Vietnam visa on arrival also saves its applicants a lot of cost
For getting Vietnam visa on arrival/Vietnam Embassy visa, you are required to pay two kinds of fee: Visa approval fee and Visa stamping fee.
1. VISA APPROVAL FEE
It is the fee that the applicants have to pay online for us get the visa approval letter (entrance letter) from Vietnam Immigration Department. If you don’t have this approval letter, you can not enter Vietnam.
2. VISA STAMPING FEE
It is the fee that the applicants must pay in cash at the landing visa office (landing visa counter) at the arrival airport or Vietnam Embassy.
