A multiple-entry visa is a type of visa issued to foreigners, used to enter and exit Vietnam many times during the visa's duration.

Regarding the expansion of countries whose citizens are granted electronic visas and international border gates that allow foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas, some opinions agree on regulations on expanding visa issuance electronically for citizens of countries and regions.

In addition, the delegate suggested that the Government review and supplement the list of countries whose citizens are granted electronic visas and international border gates that allow foreigners to enter by electronic visa.

Receiving comments from delegates, the National Assembly Standing Committee directed the drafting agency to supplement the document to send to the National Assembly a draft resolution on the list of countries and territories whose citizens are granted electronic visas. death. Immediately after the law is passed and takes effect, the Government will issue a resolution to promptly implement it in practice.

Regarding increasing the time for granting temporary residence certificates at border gates from 15 days to 45 days, many opinions agree with the draft law; a number of comments suggested to clarify the basis of the 45-day regulation; offer to increase to 60 or 90 days.

Mr. Toi said that raising the unilateral visa exemption period to 45 days is the average level in the region, thereby enhancing Vietnam's competitiveness in attracting tourists; to further facilitate international tourists.
