According to local people, this place is called Hon Yen because in the past, there were many swiftlets coming to nest in this area. Hon Yen Island was formed by tectonic activities, the most prominent of which was volcanic eruptions, including hexagonal blocks and cylindrical basalt blocks.

  • Option 1: From National Highway 1A, tourists go North for 15km. After reaching Phu Dien intersection, turn right onto the concrete road and ask the locals for directions to Nhon Hoi village. 
  • Method 2: Starting from Le Duan Street in the city center, visitors move along the coast, going straight through An My, An Chan, An Phu communes to reach Yen market. From here, you turn to Hon Yen via the coastal inter-village roads.
