Specifically, residents should limit the use of personal vehicles, prioritize public transportation, and travel in groups to support each other. Residents should wear neat, respectful attire suitable for the ceremony; bring necessary items such as hats, drinking water, fans, tissues, and light jackets.
When watching the military parade and march-past, residents need to follow the instructions of the authorities; avoid jostling, pushing, and disorderly conduct; take care of personal belongings and maintain public hygiene. Additionally, residents should arrive early to secure good viewing spots.
Previously, on the evenings of April 18th and 22nd, Ho Chi Minh City held joint rehearsals of the military parade and march-past to prepare for the 50th anniversary of the National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). On the evening of April 25th, a preliminary review will take place, followed by a final rehearsal two days later.
During this period, the Ho Chi Minh City Police advise residents to proactively adjust their routes accordingly and avoid gathering in large numbers around restricted areas during the rehearsals, preliminary review, and final rehearsal.
Residents should limit bringing unnecessary items when entering the event areas; businesses and households in the event areas should limit services to facilitate the rehearsals, preliminary review, final rehearsal, and the successful organization of the official ceremony.
