The Mekong River

The Mekong River is one of Asia's longest rivers. The Mekong Delta region has beautiful landscapes that make visitors who have visited once will remember forever. Cruises on the Mekong River are a safe, convenient and very pleasant means of transportation to explore the region. River cruises serve visitors daily, including walking into villages, visiting temples and participating in hands-on experiences with local traditional crafts. The main means of transport are: bus and tuk-tuk, so that visitors can experience up close the rural life along the tributaries of the Mekong River.

1. Ba Duc Ancient House in Tien Giang

The Mekong Delta features a blend of traditional Vietnamese and French colonial architecture, with spiers of 19th and early 20th century Catholic churches rising above riverside villages. One of the best examples of this architectural fusion is Ba Duc Ancient House in Hoa Hop, Cai Be, Tien Giang, dating back to 1850. The famous villa has a garden of ornamental plants and fruit trees. The tropics always attract a large number of tourists to visit.

2. Tra Su Melaleuca forest

Tra Su Melaleuca forest is located in Van Giao Commune, An Giang Province. This is a typical flooded forest for the West Hau River region, and is home to many species of animals and plants belonging to the forest system in Vietnam. Visitors can get there by short speedboat through this 1,500-hectare mangrove forest, and there's nothing better than getting on a rowing boat with locals to visit and see the life of the species.

3. The Water and Moon Festival in Phnom Penh

The water and moon festival is held every year in Phnom Penh, seeing hundreds of thousands of Cambodians take to the streets to join the festival. This important three-day cultural event marks the end of the rainy season and the remarkable reversal of the Tonle Sap River's flow. During the festival days, you will be able to admire the racing scenes between traditional Khmer boats very interesting.

4. Angkor Wat

A visit to the ancient temple complex of Angkor is the first choice for any visitor to Siem Reap for the first time. If visitors travel by Spirit ship, they will be treated to a unique dinner and watch a traditional Angkor cultural performance. Watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat and taking a hot air balloon ride to admire this historic site from above are very interesting experiences for visitors.
