Since October, every day hundreds of foreign visitors come to Du Gia waterfall in Yen Minh district to queue up to jump over the waterfall, enjoying the beautiful weather after the storm.

Du Gia Waterfall is located in Tien village of Du Gia commune, with a waterfall about 6 m high pouring into a deep blue water hole. The waterfall is located in the middle of a wild village scene, the water flows strongly, attracting many foreign visitors to experience waterfall jumping.
Nguyen Thuat, a tour guide in Ha Giang who regularly takes international tourists to Dong Van Stone Plateau, said that since the beginning of October, the number of international tourists to Du Gia has increased sharply. "I have personally brought about 200-300 tourists," he said, adding that most groups traveling to Ha Giang - Dong Van choose to stay one night in Du Gia to bathe in the waterfall the next day.

Visitors often follow the cliff to the top of the waterfall and then jump into the deep water hole. The highest point is about 6 meters above the water surface, some other points have lower jumping positions, about 3.5 meters above the water surface.
Traveling to Ha Giang for the first time in October, Rochelle, 32 years old, said that compared to the waterfalls he had been to in Vietnam, Du Gia waterfall was pristine, had clear water and had suitable jumping spots.
"Waterfall jumping is an exciting experience, suitable for those who love adventure and exploring nature," said a male tourist from France.

Briona, a British tourist, and her group of friends traveled more than 80 km from Meo Vac to Du Gia on October 27. She said "there were a lot of people" jumping off waterfalls, but she "felt scared" so she did not try this experience.
Mr. Thuat said that domestic tourists tend to go to places with beautiful landscapes to take photos and check in, while international tourists prefer to go deeper into the villages and experience wild places.
According to locals, hundreds of visitors come to Du Gia every day to sightsee and bathe in the waterfall. Accommodation facilities here welcome more visitors than before Typhoon Yagi.
Du Gia Panorama owner Nguyen Van Khuy said he has welcomed more than 300 guests in nearly a month. His family's homestay welcomes a maximum of 30 guests a day, so on days when there are many groups of guests, he cannot accept family guests, and they have to move to neighboring homestays.

Director of the Ha Giang Tourism Promotion Center Dang Quoc Su said tourism activities in Ha Giang have been bustling again since October. Du Gia Waterfall is also one of the attractions, mostly foreigners. Tourists returning after the storm and flood help create more jobs and increase income for local people.
To get to the waterfall, visitors can take a car or motorbike along the route from National Highway 4C - DT181 - DT176 and turn into the waterfall when reaching Du Gia commune. Visitors park their vehicles at a stop about one kilometer from the waterfall and walk in. The ideal time to experience the waterfall is around 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Du Gia Commune is located at the foot of Ba Tien mountain range, part of Du Gia National Park with both majestic and poetic scenery, many waterfalls and clear streams, water flowing all year round.
This is a spontaneous tourist destination, the government has posted warning signs at dangerous locations. The entrance is difficult to go, the waterfall is narrow, has many boulders and is deep, posing many potential risks of accidents. When visiting the waterfall, visitors should go with locals or tour guides, pay attention to safety and should not try adventurous experiences without skills.
