If you have a valid 90-day Vietnam E-Visa but did not present it when entering Vietnam and were instead admitted under a visa exemption, your permitted stay will be determined by the visa exemption period granted at the time of entry.
👉 In your case, you only can stay in Vietnam for maximun 45 days.
⚠️ Notice: You cannot change or extend your current visa-exempt stay to 90 days by presenting your E-Visa after entering Vietnam. The 90-day E-Visa cannot be applied retroactively to your current stay.
🔄 How to utilize your 90-day stay:
- Once your visa exemption period expires, you must leave Vietnam. You may then use your valid 90-day E-Visa to re-enter Vietnam, provided that the E-Visa is still valid and all entry requirements are met.
- Alternatively, if your E-Visa has expired or you need a new period of stay, you may apply for a new 90-day Vietnam E-Visa while outside Vietnam and use it for your subsequent entry.
