Currently, Vietnam only accepts visas for holders of valid ordinary passports. Holders of diplomatic, official, temporary, emergency or damaged passports are not eligible for E-visas and need to apply for visas in other forms.

1. Torn or damaged passports

If the passport is torn, peeled, crumpled, missing pages, wet or shows signs of repair, it will not be accepted for electronic visa issuance.
