Viet Nam will waive visas for tourists from Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland according to Resolution 11/NQ-CP effective from 1st March 2025 to 31st December 2025. The move is part of the Government Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP on visa exemption issued on January 15 in an effort to promote inbound tourism this year.
The new policy will be applied to tours organized by international travel service providers in Vietnam until December 31, 2025.
Visa exemptions will be granted to citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland for a temporary stay of up to 45 days from the date of entry for tourism purposes if meet the below conditions:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months following their date of arrival in Vietnam
- Passport has at least 02 blank pages
- Have round-trip ticket to Vietnam
- Have the tour programme for the whole trip by the Vietnamese travelling company
Currently, Vietnam also unilaterally exempts visas for citizens from 13 countries, namely Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Belarus, with a duration of stay of up to 45 days from the date of entry.
