Vietnam visa run – All you need to know
Since Vietnam reopened the country to the tourism in 15th of March 2022, tourists can not get more than 30 days visa which is quite short for most of them. In general, the first idea that comes up in their mind is to get Vietnam visa extension. However, now visa extension is not available so visa run is the single and solid option to renew your Vietnam visa. You can do it by plane (airport) or by bus (land border).

1. What is visa run?

• Vietnam visa run is a term to refer a trip towards nearby countries with the purpose of resetting your duration in Vietnam. It is done by leaving Vietnam and returning (within 1 day or more) to stay longer in Vietnam. Therefore, visa run doers can be done at either land borders or airports.

2. Why should you choose visa run?

• Save the Vietnam visa fee: visa run is cheaper than visa extension.
• Cut down the processing time: Vietnam visa run can be done around 7-10 hours in stead of 7-10 working days for visa extension.
